Answer: No, it is not recommended. The mounting surface is flat and meant for a windshield edge. -

Answer: The rubber pieces are spacer inserts to help the clamp fit onto smaller windshield frames. They can be placed securely in the jaws of the clamp. -

Answer: Yes, the bracket allows the mirror to swing a full 120 degrees, making it convenient to put a cover on the boat without removing the mirror. -

Will this clamp to a bass boat plastic windshield/deflector?
Answer: No, the clamp is meant for windshields with a metal/steel/aluminum frame. It is not advised to use it on frameless windshields/deflectors as it may cause damage or injury.
