The VIZIO SmartCast TV has built-in wireless capabilities and wireless routers are needed to connect to networks. This D24f-G1 model has a built-in coaxial tuner for over-the-air or direct cable connections. Apps can be added and downloaded from Vizio. However, several customers reported poor sound quality, shut down within two years, slow processor and poor smart capabilities. Some customers had trouble with the TV staying on and turning off by itself while others report issues with changing channels and the remote being almost useless. However, customers found the voice explanation for channels an interesting feature. A customer reported using this TV for their workshop and for this purpose, it was fine.
