The Zipp 188 Freehub Body is a part designed for Zipp wheels to convert from Shimano 10-speed to 11-speed (Campagnolo) in order for the wheel to be used with Shimano Di2 11-speed. The Campagnolo freehub body appears to be authentic and of Zipp quality. It is easy to install and includes all the necessary parts. However, the freehub body is not convertible to Shimano 11-speed. Before purchasing this hub, go to the Zipp website to ensure that your wheel is upgradable. There are numerous web pages and videos with instructions on how to install this upgrade. Genuine item, easy install and cleared up an issue with the freehub getting a bit of stickiness and causing chain slap. However, one individual described that less than three months after purchase, one of the bearings were ruined, which was not addressed in the instructional videos or packaging. If you have a wheel made before 2012, this upgrade may not be applicable, so it is important to verify the upgradability before purchase.
