What exactly is 3D Jersey and is it polyester?
Answer: Our super soft 3D jersey is made of 80% polyester, 16% cotton, and 4% elastane for stretch. The whole cover is Oeko-Tex certified and machine washable. -

What is the purpose of this product and how is it different from a swing or bouncer that is battery operated?
Answer: The BABYBJÖRN Bouncer uses baby's own movements for power which helps with their motor skills and general development. It also allows babies to be able to fall asleep without constant motion since the seat stops moving when they stop moving. -

Do all baby products have ugly warning labels across the front of the seat?
Answer: Yes, it seems that all baby products have ugly warnings. We never walk away from the baby and follow their instructions. -

Is it safe for babies to sleep in this bouncer?
Answer: It is not safe for babies to sleep in a reclined position, even for a nap. Please Google AAP’s safe sleep recommendations or the Safe to Sleep campaign. The most important recommendation is that babies be put on their back, on a firm surface, every time they’re put to sleep. -

Answer: The mesh material is stretchy and flexes around baby's head, so there is no flat head issue. -

Answer: The chair can be used as a Bouncer up to 20 lbs and then a toddler chair (without the safety restraint) until 29 lbs. -

Can I get the babybjorn bliss with a Moreno wool seat instead of cotton?
Answer: It's best to stick with cotton or mesh. Warmth can come from the baby's clothes or a blanket bag. An overheated baby is an unhappy baby. -

Is this product treated with fire retardant?
Answer: BABYBJÖRN does not use flame retardants in any products in the US or Canada. All fabric textiles meet the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 Class 1 certification.

The bouncer can be used up to 20 lbs and then as a toddler chair. This product does not have any electronics so baby can fall asleep without Constant motion. However, it is not safe for babies to sleep in a reclined position. The warning label on the front of the seat is ugly but necessary for safety. BABYBJÖRN does not use flame retardants in any of their products in the US or Canada.
