The Guide Gear 12-Volt ATV/UTV Broadcast Spreader is a decent product for its price. It has an adjustable gate for different types of seeds but cannot adjust the broadcast pattern. It also has an agitator to keep the seeds moving. Installation on a UTV can be a bit tricky, but once installed, it runs on the UTV battery. The spreader is not suitable for use on a zero turn mower. The spread rate is changeable, but it cannot be mounted on a ball receiver. It works well for spreading salt and sand, but be sure to rinse it thoroughly. Overall, the product is durable and easy to use, but it has some design flaws and the quality of some parts could be improved.
