Answer: Spax stainless steel screws are great for external decking, pulls down nice and tight. Had no problems, great product. -
Question:
What clearance size drill would I need for these screws?
Answer: On softer woods, no predrill is necessary. On harder woods, I've used a 4mm successfully. Also, shouldn't need a countersink either. -
Question:
Spax logo on the screw head? Do these (and the pozi version) really have a 'Spax' logo on the head? Not a great look for floorboards!
