"The Spider's Syndicate of Crime" is a 144-page comic book that features the adventures of The Spider, a villainous anti-hero. The collection contains some of the same stories as Titan's 2005 "King of Crooks" book but with additional 50+ pages of strip. The volume is beautifully produced and deserves a spot on any British comics fan's bookshelf. The stories contain an absurd melodrama with a charismatic lead character. The illustrations are extraordinary, and the reproduction is darker, suiting the tone of the stories. It's a great read that showcases one of the greatest forgotten characters of pre-2000AD British comics.
