Do I need to have the fuse between the charge controller and battery?
Answer: It's recommended for safety, but not necessary for the system to run properly. -

Will this work with the Renogy portable 60w solar panel?
Answer: This particular tray cable will not work with the solar suitcase. You would be able to use a tray cable that is 12AWG wire size. But you would not really need one of these cables because you receive a tray cable (with the clamps) with the solar suitcase. -

Anyone know where I can find this same (mc4 to battery clip) set up with 10awg instead of 14awg?

Isn't it a risk to mis-match the positive to positive neg to neg from controller to battery because they are not 'color-coded'?
Answer: It is not a risk the controller has protection against cross-polarity. We would recommend labeling the wires so you don't mix and match the positive and negative. -

What wire gauge is recommended with a 24v system [24v battery, 24v inverter, two Renogy 100w connected in series for 24v]?
Answer: AWG 10 will be able to handle around 30 amps continuous. -

Does this come with 2 8 foot lengths or just 1? The description says 1 but the picture shows 2.
Answer: This will come with two 8 foot lengths. -

If I have the 8' 10awg cables can I buy another 16' and jumper them? I need about 20' to go to my controller.
Answer: Yes. Solder the connection. It is better to have the charge control as close to the battery as possible. Short distance is always better with dc so is higher voltage. -

How do I incorporate the fuse into these cables for a solar setup? Does it come as a part of the cable or do I have to solder my own in?
Answer: This cable does not come with a fuse. If you wanted to incorporate one, you would need to either solder one in or buy a fuse holder and the cable ends to attach to the wire. -

Can someone measure the inner diameter of the ring please? I need to know if it will fit my controller before I buy them. in millimeter please
Answer: The measurement is 10.44mm, which is about 0.41 inches. However, I would like to point out that this O-Ring is ideally meant to connect at your Battery(s) terminals, and not the charge controller's screw terminals. -

I am planning a (4 panel) system, each panel is 24 volts, 250 watts each. Will this cable be able to handle the current?
Answer: Yes, this is fine for transfer of solar to charge controller. You will need a heavier gauge battery cable coming from the inverter to the battery bank. -
Question:
I have two 150 watt and 12 v Renogy panels, will that cable be able to handle that 300 watts?
Answer: AWG 10 will be able to handle around 30 amps continuous... so yes. 12v x 30 amps = 360 Watts
