About This Item
Introducing the BIGTREETECH Direct TFT35 V3.0.1 Touch Screen with Dual Modes Smart Controller Panel! This highly compatible and versatile touch screen is the perfect addition to your 3D printer setup. With a size of 110x58mm, this touch screen is compact yet packed with innovative features. It operates with a 5V DC input voltage and has a convenient installation size of 103.76 * 49.43 mm.
The TFT35 V3.0.1 offers two different work modes that can be easily changed with the press of a button. In the 12864 screen mode, simply connect the port EXP1 and EXP2 to the motherboard for operation. This mode does not have touch functionality, but is compatible with SKR MINI E3 or SKR E3 DIP with the connection of EXP3 to the motherboard.
On the other hand, the serial port screen mode allows for touch function, and can be connected to TFT or aux-2 on the motherboard via RS232. The onboard LED information includes a power indicator with a red light (D2) that turns on when the board is powered, and an SD card detection indicator with a red light (D1) that turns on when an SD card is inserted. With regards to firmware, the TFT35 V3.0.1 comes with a test firmware that can be used immediately.
However, for customization purposes, the firmware is fully customizable according to your needs. You can find the necessary firmware files on our Github page by searching for BIGTREETECH. To update the firmware, simply copy the firmware file and TFT35 folder to the root directory of an SD card, then insert the card into the SD card slot of the board.
After booting the board or pressing the reset key, wait for the firmware, fonts, and icons to be updated. Please note that the firmware file name on the SD card cannot be changed, including capitalization. Ensure that all wires and connectors are correctly plugged in before powering on the device to avoid any issues.
