Drama Editorial Review
Thesis (1996) ( Tesis ) [ Blu-Ray, Reg.A/B/C Import - Spain ] is a compelling thriller directed by Alejandro Amenábar that explores the dark world of cinema violence through the eyes of a female college student. As she investigates her thesis subject, she uncovers a potential snuff film operation that keeps viewers on the edge of their seats. Notably, the film is praised for its intense atmosphere and engaging plot but is marred by the absence of subtitles in this specific version, which can be a barrier for non-Spanish speakers. With strong performances from Ana Torrent and Eduardo Noriega, this Blu-ray import is recommended for those who appreciate intricate storytelling and suspenseful cinematography.
