The NuWave Brio Digital Air Fryer is made in China and comes with a large cooking basket that is aluminum wrapped in a PTFE and PFOA free non-stick coating. It uses hot air with high-speed air circulation to air-sear the outside of the food while locking in the flavor and juices, creating a deep-fried taste without the use of any unhealthy oil. However, customers have experienced some issues such as a weird chemical taste that is released into the food and a new appliance smell on the first use that can take a couple of uses to go away. Some customers have also found it takes too long to preheat and that the suggested cook times for different foods they've tried have not been cooked right, while others have found it easy to clean and have had no issues with taste or smell.
