It is a PCI Express PCIe card for Desktop PC support Windows and Linux Mac OS. The card drivers can be downloaded from https://oemdrivers.com/chipset-asm3142-usb-3-1-driver. It supports data transmission, PD and ALT DP video transmission is not supported. The card comes with some limitations as the actual transmission speed is limited by the setting of the connected device. The card is suitable for x99 mobos. The green light of the card cannot be turned off easily. The reviews show that some customers faced issues with the driver support when Windows did not recognize the card or the device plugged into the card. A customer had trouble with seating the card due to motherboard issues. The USB-A ports had worked fine for some customers for almost three months but eventually failed. The card had slow processing speeds for data transmission in some cases. The USB ports may not fit in some cases and require the case to be cut for fitting. The device needs installation, and the inputs do not work correctly in some cases. Overall, the card works well for customers and provides the additional USB ports.
