Answer: Yes you can cook it on an electric and gas stove ! When it says not electric it was referring to the skillet it self ! It's just a regular skillet with no cords attached . I have to add this is a really good cooking skillet ! Happy cooking ! -

How do you care for the smalls areas of exposed cast iron?
Answer: Wash the entire pan with soap and water. Dry thoroughly before putting away. You are not cooking on the exposed cast iron, so it doesn't matter about the soap. -

Artisian cookware how do you get them clean? My food stuck and now turned the bottom a brownish color that won't come out . I have had no problems
Answer: Try to leave the pot with water for few hours and the scrub after to take the brown color out, if this is food it should be able to come out easy. -
