    Answer: You need to identify which of the 6 listed models you are talking about and then just look at the list at the CA DOJ website. If it is not on the list then it is not approved, in spite of what the manufacturer may claim.
  • Question: What is the difference between the ve10 and the vt10i, besides the biometric and general proposed use?

    Answer: The VT10i is Bluetooth, so it can work with our Vaultek smartphone app, and features reinforced bolstered hinges with dual anti-impact latches. Thicker foam padding also provides more cushion for your belongings. If you have any additional questions please don't hesitate to contact our support team.
  • Question: What is the auto open lid on the mxe? i can't find anything about it in the owner's manual.

    Answer: Lid automatically pops open once combo is entered, illuminating the contents inside. Lighting fast and reliable. Best safe on the market
  • Question: Would this fit a maxim 9?

    Answer: I’d like to know if it fits a Maxim 9 as well. That would be perfect!
  • Question: Does this version, without the bluetooth, have some kind of indication of battery life? Dont want to have the batteries dead when I need to open it.

    Answer: Yea it does. You simply press and hold down the number 5 button and while holding the button down, the numbers 1-4 will light up to indicate if the battery is at 100%, 75%, 50% or 25% charged.
  • Question: Do you get to pick what color you want?

    Answer: I did not get the option but black is best for security and low profile.
  • Question: If the battery fails on the se20 slider safe, can you still open it using a key?

    Answer: Yes, it does have back up key entry provision. If you charge the battery every three months, you shouldn't have to use the key.
  • Question: How many numbers in the code?

    Answer: Your master code can be a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 8 digits.
  • Question: How many times can you enter a wrong passcode until security sleep mode activates?

    Answer: Five wrong guesses in a row.
  • Question: Does device work in sub zero weather when carried in my truck in montana winters?

    Answer: Mine has worked so far so good here in the sub zero North Dakota winters.
