Answer: The tea lights I use are a fairly standard size - just under 1.5 inches in diameter and 3/4 tall. These burn for about 6 hours. -

Can I leave this outside on my patio table?
Answer: No, I wouldn't recommend. The paint will wash away. I had to repaint ours after we left it outside for 2 weeks. -

What size tea light fits best, a 1” or 1.5” diameter?
Answer: It is 1 1/2 inches - well almost 1 1/2 inches. I use a battery votive that flickers when on. Cute little decor for my sun porch! -

Answer: I like mine too. I don't know why it's different from what you expected. Mine is like I thought it would be. -
