It can be used to polish golf cart windshields, plastic boat windows, and scratched-up sunglasses, as well as to fix CDs. It may take repeating the process a few times to get the desired results. The product works best on fine scratches where it can get them out. It will remove the coating on some scratch-resistant glasses. One user found that the Novus #2 Fine Scratch Remover worked well to remove fine scratches that made their boat's windows look cloudy. Some other users found that it did not work well on their turntable cover, and it could be too abrasive for some surfaces.
