The 3M Pro Grade No-Slip Grip Advanced Sandpaper is a good quality tool that is ideal for sanding both metals and woods. It can also be used on porcelain but must be kept wet. The sandpaper has a wax-type coating on one side, making it more tear-resistant and longer lasting than regular paper. The grits also stay on the paper longer. While it is somewhat more expensive, it is certainly worth the price if you are doing a lot of sanding. The sandpaper is good for both finish work and for removing materials quickly. On the downside, when used on a sander or lathe, it tends to get hot and stick to itself and the machine. When changing the sheet, it is important to go slow as it can pull off some rubber from the machine surface. The sandpaper comes in a pack of 20. **
