    Answer: I wouldn’t say heavier, when used as a finish surface the non slip aspects are terrific “indoors”….. now outside / in cold / snow…. You will get taller with every step lol ( cakes up)

    Answer: This is a happy medium. Not too soft, not to hard. It is very flexible. Very good for non-slip, which is why I purchased it. I would like to get this in rolls since I will be using it allot more often.

    Answer: It is a knockoff of “shoes for crews” soles.... and yes, works w

    Answer: Excellent product. Water and weather proof.

    Answer: It's fairly think but flexible and sturdy. Not floppy like a piece of fabric. It's kinda like a yoga mat but thicker and with more texture.
  • Question: Would these work well for hiking dirt trails, traction for going up and down hills, etc?

    Answer: They could, but I would find something different. They are mostly designed for kitchens where there is a lot of grease and oil. The amount of food particles I get lodged in the treads, I could imagine the amount of pebbles and debris would be hard to clean.

It is perfect for indoor use, especially in restaurants, but can get clogged with debris when used outside on rough terrain. It is not as thermomoldable as some might like. It is a knockoff of "shoes for crews" soles but can also be used for replacing the soles of winter boots. Overall, it is a flexible and sturdy product that is excellent for its intended purposes.
